Some thoughts at the end of my first semester of nursing school...
I have had so many thoughts and experiences that I wanted to share this semester. I have just been so so crazy busy. I am wondering if I can force myself to share a little bit each week from now on if I schedule it. Anyway, I thought I would give you a quick rundown of the past 8 months. I got in to nursing school at Bon Secours (BSMCON) and that was so huge. What I didn't know at the time was that my cohort is pretty fabulous. We have begun to get to know each other and they are a really fun group of women. My experience in nursing school the first time around (in the late 1990s- I obviously didn't finish) was nothing like my experience this time. The culture at BSMCON is so nurturing and encouraging. It is almost as if they want you to succeed! The kids have had an amazing transition to public school. I miss them like crazy, but they have adjusted really well. One has had straight A's and the other has gotten all A's except for one B in the first term. I am so
